Susan Essex Luce

Susan Essex Luce has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont in German and Political Science, and a Master’s Degree in German from Middlebury College. She began her teaching career as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Innsbruck, Austria, and has pursued her love of languages by taking courses in Italian and Spanish in Rome and Málaga, Spain. She has taught German, Latin, and Spanish to middle and high schoolers in Massachusetts and Vermont. Originally hailing from South Strafford and Norwich, VT, she is excited to live in the Upper Valley again after residing in Burlington and the Champlain Islands for almost 20 years. She enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, music, art, and cooking.
