Sean Mullen

Special Education Paraprofessional

Sean Mullen has been with Thetford Academy since 2011. He has a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire and is a certified mediator. A Thetford resident for more than 35 years, Sean is the longest serving chair of the Thetford Development Review Board.

In his work with students, he likes “seeing the integration of academic and social learning that takes place in the special education program.” He also appreciates the small town connection between the school and the community.

In his spare time, Sean is a soccer referee, noting: “It’s been a pleasure to watch both boys and girls enjoy the New England autumns against the backdrop of the extraordinary vistas of the New Hampshire mountains.”

“Consider that the mind is capable of an endless growth.”—Asa Burton, one of the founders, urging citizens of Thetford to establish TA in 1819
