Sara Freeman

504 Coordinator

Sara Freeman ’85 is a lifelong Thetford resident, attending both Thetford Elementary School and Thetford Academy. Sara pursued an associate degree in accounting, but when she was offered a job as a one-on-one special education paraprofessional 20 years ago, she took the position and found that she loved the work. She has been with TA ever since.

“It is very rewarding to help struggling students reach their full academic potential. TA is a wonderful school. Students are encouraged to be themselves and to do the best that they can.”

“Consider that the mind is capable of an endless growth.”—Asa Burton, one of the founders, urging citizens of Thetford to establish TA in 1819
We set high expectations. We challenge all members of the school community to reach their highest potential.
Our mission is to celebrate the unique worth of all students, to nurture their strengths, and to challenge them to fulfill their potential.
