Marc Chabot

Science Faculty

Marc Chabot teaches chemistry, physics, robotics, and computer science. Prior to joining TA in 1996, he taught chemistry and physics in two different high schools, and computer science at the University of New Hampshire.

Marc has also worked as a software engineer in both research and business, and spent a year working on an education research project with his former professor, the late Faith Dunne, PhD, mother of Vermont politician Matt Dunne. He has an AB from Dartmouth College in chemistry modified with education, plus an MS in computer science from University of New Hampshire. He earned his principal licensure from the Upper Valley Educators Institute.

Marc’s two sons, Eric ’04 and Chris ’09, graduated from Thetford Academy, as did his stepdaughters, Lindsay ’01 and Audrey ’02. He lives in Thetford Center on a piece of land his mother purchased in 1947 for $400.
