This course is designed to develop student understanding of the basic structure of geometry. Students will develop skills in deductive reasoning, Algebra, precise language, and clear thinking. The class will include a study of the following: derivation of formulas for polygons, deductive proofs, angle relationships, congruent triangles, similar polygons, three-dimensional objects, area, and volume.

Prerequisite: Successful completion (B or above) of Algebra I Honors, Algebra I, Algebra II Honors or Algebra II, or permission of the instructor.
