This course is an entry-level survey of the topics of the
calculus of one variable. Skills and applications from both differential and integral calculus is covered. While emphasis is on skills, the theoretical foundations of the topics are also discussed. Applications include those standard to the course as well as those that the instructor feels meet the future interests of the class members.

Prerequisite: Successful completion (B or above) of Precalculus or permission of Precalculus instructor. Note that if Precalculus is not taken at Thetford Academy, a placement test will be required before a student may enroll in Calculus.
