Who can attend TA?
Thetford Academy enrolls students in grades 7-12. We are the designated middle and high school for the town of Thetford, VT, and a school of choice for students in a wide range of Upper Valley sending towns.
A “sending town” is defined as a Vermont or New Hampshire town without its own public school for one or more grades K-12. These towns pay tuition from the town education budget to send their students to a wide variety of approved public or independent schools.
For students who wish to attend TA but live in a town that does not tuition its students for middle and/or high school, TA offers a private-pay option for families. Day student tuition for the 2020-2021 year is $19,670. If you would like to learn more about your town’s tuitioning policies, please reference the contact list below.
