Who Will Be 2019’s Mr. TA?

Mr. TA returns for its ninth annual performance on Dec. 7, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. This student-run beauty pageant/talent show spoof features TA students representing every grade in our high school, along with their glamorous escorts.

This year’s show is directed by Morgan Gaffney ’20 and Layla Hanissian ’21, and emceed by the always-entertaining Coach Mark Weigel. The House Band will showcase TA faculty and staff musicians.

Tickets will be available for sale in the main office starting Monday, December 2 until all are sold ($10 each). Get your tickets early, as the show sells out every year!

All proceeds from the event will support Raise Rwanda, a non-profit organization funding high school fees for students in Rwanda who would otherwise be denied an education. To date, our community has funded over 50 years of high school for Rwandan students through this program.

The pageant, a TA tradition begun by former faculty member Kelly Welsh’s world history classes, is not to be missed. Join us for a night filled with music, laughter, and very unique displays of talent.
