Thetford Academy Drama Presents: “Who Am I This Time?”

The next two Thursdays, February 28 and March 7, at 7:00 p.m., Thetford Academy Drama students will perform “Who Am I This Time?” in the MJR Theater. Students are taking the play to the Vermont One Act Play Competition in March and to help them prepare, the actors will be requesting audience feedback at these performances.

The play is based on a short story by Kurt Vonnegut and adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel. The publisher describes the story: “Harry Nash [has] a real-life personality as blah as the leaf rakes in the hardware store where he works, and he’s of no interest to anyone. When handed a script, however, he asks, “Who am I this time?” and on the stage he becomes the role he plays. Harry lives the role until the curtain falls. An actress falls in love with him, but it’s with the Harry who is ‘in character.’”

Join us for a great show and support our students as they get “Who Am I This Time” ready for the upcoming Regional Drama Festival at Mill River High School on March 9. See you there!

Admission is $5 at the door.
