Soccer

Our soccer teams kicked off their season with strong efforts in their opening games against Rivendell at home on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5.

The varsity girls had a 7-1 win, highlighted by three goals by Lily MacVeagh, while the JV girls tied 2-2.

The varsity boys came away with a 2-1 win, including a game winning goal by Carter Blain. Despite a solid effort, the JV boys soccer lost 2-3.

Cross Country

The Panthers had a very good Marble Valley League Race at Bellows Falls on Tuesday.

The boys team beat everyone except for Stratton Mountain. In the league race,  Owen Deffner took 2nd, Bel Spelman 7th, Jacob Slaughter 8th, and Eamon Deffner placed 9th.  It was a very good early showing for the boys.

Eloise Van Meter placed 6th and Layla Hanissian 10th for the girls. The girls team is also happy to now be up to seven runners and is looking forward to having all of them racing!
