NH Academy of Science After-School Programs

Middle and High School Students, Register for STEM After School Programs Now!

The New Hampshire Academy of Science (NHAS) STEM Center, located in Lyme, NH, is a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with advanced scientific instruments supporting research across the STEM fields. Our programs are instructed by Ph.D. scientists and engineers. This is a rare opportunity to do authentic hands-on research with professional scientists and engineers.

We offer two programs that will run 3-5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. Students can choose one or both days and work in groups of up to three students. Each group will be involved in developing, executing, and presenting their own research project. Financial aid is available.

For more information, visit www.nhacadsci.org/apply-afterschool.

Also note:  a Thetford Academy student participated in NHAS’s summer research programs in 2018:  Junior Elizabeth Dixon studied the efficacy of herbal medicinals in treating parasitic worm infections using the model organism C. elegans.
