One Act Play Advances to State Drama Festival

Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged] for their outstanding performance at the Regional Drama Festival at Hartford High School Saturday, March 10. Their show was selected to advance to the State Finals in Springfield on April 6 and 7.

Thetford Academy was recognized for Excellence in Storytelling through Outstanding Company. Clare Swanson and Emma Bauer were recognized for Outstanding Stage Management, and Malcolm Silver Van-Meter, Hallie Zens, and Eli Kaliski each received individual awards for Excellence in Acting.

Students will present an encore performance of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged] later this month; stay tuned for the date and time.
