
Wendy Cole has worked in a variety of capacities at Thetford Academy since 2004, most recently as Director of Admissions and Alumni. Before coming to TA, she was employed as an administrative assistant in the classroom and the health office at Thetford Elementary School, where to this day she assists with health education. She attended Syracuse University, where she was a dual sociology and religion major.
An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and honorary lifetime member of the Thetford Volunteer Fire Department, Wendy has been a perennial community volunteer, representing the Town of Thetford as a select board member for eight years, serving as Justice of the Peace as a member on the Thetford Board of Civil Authority and Thetford Board of Abatement, and serving as a member of the Upper Valley Ambulance board of directors and on the Friends of CHAD (Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth) board.
At Thetford Academy, Wendy manages all aspects of the student admissions process, supervises the Admissions Ambassador Program, spearheads alumni relations, and volunteers her time with TA’s athletic programs.
Wendy’s four children are all graduates of Thetford Academy, and she is the grandparent of a member of the Class of 2022. She resides in Thetford Center.
