2. NATIVE WEB - One of the most frequented Native American sites. Be sure to hit the 'Start Here" link to access information. Also has a useful search engine and thousands of links.


3. FIRST NATIONS HISTORY - Dozens of tribes are covered here with detailed discussions of each tribe's location, culture, history, population and language. Complete contact information including e-mail addresses.


4. NATIVE TECH: NATIVE AMERICAN TECHNOLOGY AND ART - Visit this site for all types of artwork: beadwork, pottery, weaving, poetry and traditions. Also contains food and recipes, games and toys, clothing and more.


5. NATIVE AMERICAN SPIRITUALITY - Visit this site for a general overview of Native American religious beliefs, major traditons, tribes, and deities.


6. NATIVE AMERICAN SHELTERS - This site depicts the wide range of shelters Native Americans used throughout the United States. Separates the major tribes and their preferred method of shelter.


7. NATIVE AMERICAN SITES- Probably the best gateway site for Native American topics on the Internet. (Helps you locate sites appropriate for your topic.)


8. NATIVE AMERICAN NATIONS OF THE BLACK MESA - A detailed chronicle of the major tribes of America's Southwest. Language, artwork, traditions and history are covered in short essays. Hopi and Navajo sections are most thorough.


9. NATIONAL CONGRESS OF AMERICAN INDIANS - A good deal of this site covers current issues of concern to the federal government. Updates on legislation and social issues affecting Native Americans are frequently added.

11. HISTORY OF THE CHEROKEE - The history section of this site chronicles Cheokee philosophy and culture.

17. YAHOO SEARCH - This is a Yahoo search page. It includes links to information on selected tribes. You will find a list of dozens of tribes here. When you select the tribe you want, it will show you a list of sites that contain information on that tribe.
