Alumni

The Thetford Academy community includes over 3,000 active alumni. The shared experience of a TA education creates strong bonds, lifelong friendships, and a supportive network for current students and recent alumni.

TA alumni work in diverse careers and live across the globe, with many returning to their “home” at Thetford  Academy for reunions and events. Our alumni are an important part of TA’s  more than 200-year history–and active participants in our present and future.

Every alumnus/alumna is a de facto member of the Thetford Academy Alumni Association  (TAAA) upon graduation from TA. TAAA is a volunteer-led organization with a mission to support Thetford Academy through fundraising and events. Each year, TAAA hosts several events that support the school and bring together alumni from all generations. In the fall, TAAA hosts an annual craft bazaar, a decades-old tradition that raises money to support academic departments and student activities at TA. During the holidays, alumni gather to light the campus “Memory Tree” and honor beloved members of the TA community. In the spring, TAAA hosts its annual Alumni Day and Alumni Banquet, a reunion for all TA alumni and an opportunity for milestone reunion classes to reconnect on campus.
