Thetford Academy Receives 2017-2018 RAMP School Honor

On July 16, 2018, at their annual conference in Los Angeles, the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) honored Thetford Academy’s Counseling Office for earning designation as a “Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP).”

The RAMP designation, awarded for aligning with the criteria in the ASCA National Model, recognizes schools committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment. TA is only the second school in Vermont to have earned this honor.

RAMP applications are reviewed once a year by a panel of school counseling professionals, who assess the school counseling programs in 12 different areas of expertise. For more information on the program, visit www.schoolcounselor.org/ramp.
