Emma Bauer named National Merit Scholarship Finalist

About 1.6 million juniors in the United States entered the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2016 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which served as an initial screen of program entrants. Those who scored in the top 1% achieve the distinction of National Merit Semifinalist. Many of these students move on to become National Merit Finalists by demonstrating through distinguished performance high potential for future academic accomplishment.

We would like to acknowledge and congratulate TA senior Emma Bauer as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.  Emma was recognized for attaining this impressive honor during assembly on Wednesday, March 21.

Merit Scholar designees are selected on the basis of their skills, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college students.
