Thetford Outdoor Program (TOP) Trip to Mt. Cardigan: Nov. 18

The Thetford Outdoor Program (TOP) is hosting a hike to Mt. Cardigan on Saturday, Nov. 18.

The group will meet at 10 a.m. at the circle driveway on the TA campus.  Transportation to and from Mt. Cardigan will be provided, via the school’s new TOP bus, and the group will return to school by 3 p.m.

Students should be prepared to be outside all day. Wear non-cotton clothing and good hiking shoes. Bring extra warm layers, a backpack, water, and a lunch. Food and supplies can be provided upon request for a student who does not have them.

In the event of bad weather the trip may be cancelled.  The decision to cancel will be made by 12 noon on Nov. 17.

To sign up, students should see TOP Coordinator Scott Ellis, or stop by the office to pick up a permission form.

Note that when students arrive for the TOP trip, the annual Holiday Craft Bazaar will be going on at the Vaughan Alumni Gymnasium. Students may stop by that event as early as 9 a.m., before joining the hiking adventure at 10 a.m.
